This is the busiest time of year for toy sales. Do you ever wonder about the kids you see on toy boxes or websites? For the past eighteen years, all of the photos you see on Fisher Price merchandise and web platforms have been taken at the toy company’s East Aurora headquarters. Now some of the photos will be taken at a second location in Buffalo’s Tri Main Building. It’s a way for Fisher Price to attract more diverse children and appeal to a younger demographic of parents. Winging It! Buffalo Style‘s Lauren Hall was invited to the new photo studio, designed by Room, for a behind the scenes look at what it takes to get the perfect Christmas morning picture.
If you would like your child (from birth to age 5) to be a Fisher Price baby, interested parents should email a candid photo to firstname.lastname@example.org with their name and birth date, and include the parent’s name and address, phone number and email address.
