Homemade Meatballs from Osteria 166

3 pounds ground beef
6 pieces soft white bread
1/4 cup minced parsley
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs scrambled
4 tbsp granulated garlic
1/2 cup grated Pecorino-Romano
Salt and pepper
16 ounces of your favorite tomato sauce
-In a food processor make bread crumbs from the white bread and parsley.
-In a large bowl combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, milk and seasoning. Combine gently and do not over mix
– Roll the mixture into large balls (about the size of a baseball).
– Place in a shallow baking dish and pour half of the tomato sauce over the meatballs.
-Put the dish in a 350 degree oven and bake until cooked through (about 15 – 20 minutes)
– Pour remaining sauce over cooked meatballs
