There are male breast cancer survivors, too

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, other than skin cancer, but women are not the only ones at risk for the disease. Gerry Glose is one of the less than one percent of men who can call themselves breast cancer survivors. He recently addressed the crowd at the Susan G. Komen WNY survivor luncheon, and he appeared on Winging It! Buffalo Style with Susan G. Komen WNY Executive Director Liz Khan to discuss his journey to become cancer-free, and how he now volunteers his time to help other male breast cancer patients cope with their diagnosis.
