Beef Stroganoff from Exit 2 Bar & Grille

Ingredients:

– 3 large portobello mushrooms

– 1 cup of heavy cream

– 1/2 cup of red wine

-1/2 pound tenderloin cut into pieces

– 1 ounce of garlic

– 1 ounce of chopped shallot

– 3 tablespoons of butter

– 1 package of egg noodles

– 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese

 

Directions:

-Sear tenderloin tips in a little bit of olive oil over medium high heat. Add the mushrooms, then add garlic, and shallots and saute for about 3 minutes.

-Whisk in wine and balsamic and reduce on medium heat by half

-Then add cream, cooked pasta, and stock and cook down to a rich texture,

-Finish a pallet of butter and Parmesan cheese
