Chef Christopher from Bateman Senior Meals and Meals on Wheels joined Lauren in the kitchen to make a dish that is perfect for this fall. He prepared a fresh apple and fennel slaw to top slow roasted, pulled pork. Check out the recipe below!

Cider Glazed Pulled Pork with Apple & Fennel Slaw
6 oz. Pulled Pork
8 oz. cup Apple Cider
2 tbsp. Brown Sugar
¼ cup julienned Granny Smith Apple
¼ cup julienned Fennel
¼ cup julienned Red Onion
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Honey
1 Large Kaiser Roll
Add pulled pork, apple cider, and brown sugar to saute pan over medium heat.
Combine apples, fennel, red onion, lemon juice, and honey in small mixing bowl.
Season the slaw with salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside for 5 minutes
Slice kaiser roll in half and place cut side up on baking sheet and place in pre-heated 400 degree oven for 2 minutes
Once the apple cider and sugar has reduced by half the pork is ready. Remove from heat.
To plate; place bottom of roll on plate. Pile pork on roll, top with slaw, and bun cover.
