More than 25 hundred participants are expected to stand up against Leukemia and Lymphoma for this year’s Light the Night Walk. Since September is blood disease awareness month, the 16th annual walk will continue to bring support and funds to patients suffering from blood diseases here in Western New York on September 26th. Winging It’s Lauren Hall sat down with Luann Burgio from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societ of WNY and Wayne Bryant, a cancer survivor, to learn more about this year’s Light the Night Walk.
It’s not too late to register for the event! You can get involved by calling 834-2578 or sign up online at: lightthenight.org/wcny/
