A summer of imagination

Usually when we experience an artistic masterpiece, we only get to see the final product. That’s not the case in Lafayette Square this week. Tape artists from Providence, Rhone Island have a talent and they’re sticking to it! Using just painters tape and imagination, they’ve started on an exploration-themed mural called “Buffalo Caverns” outside the downtown branch of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library. It’s a colorful kick off to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery‘s new public art initiative, and Winging It! Buffalo Style‘s Lauren Hall met up with Director Janne Siren to discuss how he hopes the program will inspire the community.
