A Summer Camp with Style

Summer camp doesn’t always mean campfires and boondoggle! For many young people, it’s a time to explore skills and careers they might want to pursue in the future. Mary Ramsay, owner of The Clothes Bar in Williamsville, launched a fashion camp to help budding fashionistas explore the evolving industry. Then they used what they learned to transform an empty space in the Clothes Bar’s plaza to build their own pop up boutique. As part of their final assignment, each camper put together a signature look using merchandise from Mary’s store. Lauren Hall spoke to all six participants: Emma Ricco, Clare Mungovan, Taylor Stover, Nya Herron, Hannah McHale, and Chloe Wagner, to learn more about their individual styles and inspiration.
