Bringing a North Buffalo neighborhood back to life

An historic community is coming back to life in North Buffalo. Anchored by the former FWS building, the former industrial buildings provide an opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs to launch businesses, and for established leaders to try new concepts. Lauren visited the re-emerging neighborhood to learn more about Developer Rocco Termini’s vision for the Pierce Arrow Village. She stopped by Salon in the City at the Houk Lofts and sat down with owner and stylist, Stacie Kowalski, to discuss how the revitalization of this neighborhood is so important to her. Lauren also checked in with Chef Mike Andrzejewski who has branched off of his successful line of restaurants to open a tattoo shop, Ink Inc. Among the two new boutique services offered in Pierce Arrow Village, Termini believes that many more will begin to fill the neighborhood.
