Top of the Falls: “Barreled Over Burger”

Prep Time:
20 mins.
Cook Time: 15 mins.

• 1 Granny Smith Apple
• ¼ pound uncooked bacon
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 slices of buffalo wing cheddar cheese
• 2 (4 oz.) Angus Beef Patties
• 1 slice of tomato
• 1 leaf of green leaf lettuce
• 1 slice of red onion
• 1 Brioche roll

To make stuffing
1). Small Dice bacon
2). Peel, core, and small dice apple
3). Saute bacon and apple
4). Add brown sugar when ¾ way cooked
5). Drain excess fat, cool
To make burger
6). Place one burger patty in ring mold
7). Place one slice of cheese on burger
8). Spread 2 oz. of filling on cheese
9). Place 2nd slice of cheese on top
10).Place 2nd burger patty on top
11).Hand compress sides of burger patty to create a seal
12).Remove ring
To make Sandwich
13).Cook burger in sauté pan to sear both sides
14).Finish in oven sheet tray at 350 F until inside of burger reaches 158 degrees F.
15). Build sandwich, Burger, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion on Brioche Roll
