Father’s Day Surf & Turf

Chef Marco from Marco’s Italian Restaurant helped us celebrate Father’s Day in the kitchen with a delicious surf and turf dish. He paired a juicy burger with cajun shrimp and garlic mayo. See the recipe below:

4 ground beef burger patties

4 Hamburger buns

1 cup of mayonnaise

4 cloves of roasted garlic

2 cups of fresh arugula

4 slices of provolone cheese

1/2 pound of butterflied shrimp

2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper

Cook the patties to your liking on a grill of a skillet. Lightly sprinkle cayenne pepper over shrimp. Take the shrimp and saute them for about 3-5 minutes. Take the finished burger and place on bun. Place 3 cooked shrimp on top of each burger and cover with one slice of provolone cheese. To make the garlic mayo, mix the roasted garlic until smooth and add to the mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper, then spread on top of the burger bun. Finish the burger with fresh arugula and enjoy!
