Oldest Bomber Touches Down in Buffalo

At seventy three years old, The Diamond Lil is the world’s oldest flying bomber. “She” is one of 18,000 B-24’s produced in the World War II era, for use by the United States and its allies. The plane is now part of the Commemorative Air Force Vintage Flying Museum, which is brings historic aircrafts all over the country to remind and educate Americans about the people and technology we have to thank for our freedom. Winging It! Buffalo Style‘s Lauren Hall spoke to Pilot Allen Benzing during a recent stop at Prior Aviation Buffalo.
