Happy Birthday Osteria 166!

Chef Jeff from Osteria 166 stopped by the Kitchen World kitchen today to celebrate their one-year anniversary downtown on Franklin Street. You can visit them anytime online at www.osteriabuffalo.com.

Osteria Crab Cakes
Serves: 8

INGREDIENTS
-1 lb can high quality crab meat
-1.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
-5 eggs scrambled
-1 red bell pepper diced fine
-1 shallot minced
-1 tbsp dijon mustard
-1 tbsp chopped basil
-1 tbsp chopped parsley
-4 green onions chopped
-1/4 cup mayo
-Salt and pepper to taste
-1 tbsp old bay spice
-1 tsp cajun spice

DIRECTIONS
1). Break and scramble eggs
2). Soak breadcrumbs in 3 eggs until soggy
3). Prep rest of ingredients. Combine ingredients; form into 8 equal patties; bread top and bottom. 4). Pan fry and serve hot!
