Dr. Frances Ilozue joined us at the end of Women’s Health Week to discuss some simple steps and guidelines that women can take in order to live longer, healthier lives.
She believes in taking a personalized approach to health, suggesting that you keep active throughout the week and do more than what your baseline activity normally involves. Take a walk in the park, play with your kids or grandkids, hit the gym – and make sure you’re coupling that with a strong diet.
Dr. Ilozue cautioned us to stay away from greasy, fried foods and to adopt the Mediterranean diet which consists of plants, fish and lean meats! Sounds delicious, right?
