At just 25 years old, Kip Tisia already has two full-marathon wins under his belt. Kip was among the more than 6700 runners who laced up Sunday May 25th for the four races that now make up the Buffalo Marathon.
The Kenyan native rocketed to the finish line, breaking the course record with his time of 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 16 seconds. In addition to his new full marathon title, Kip also won the Buffalo half-marathon the last two years and placed first in the Rochester marathon last year, breaking that course record too!
With an average mile time of 5 minutes, 14 seconds, he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
