Best Buy: Death of Windows XP

If you use WINDOWS XP on your computer, Microsoft has some big news for you. As of April 8, 2014, they’ll no longer support the operating system and that puts you directly in danger of falling victim to a cyber crime.

Ashish Patel from Best Buy’s Geek Squad helped us break down what this means. Essentially, your computer will still work but you won’t be able to download performance or security upgrades and that could mean potential hackers could breach your now-vulnerable system.

Of course – there are options. Head over to www.bestbuy.com or give them a call to speak with a representative about installing a new system on an old device or simply upgrading to a newer computer or tablet.
