BUFFALO, NY (CW23) – Some of the Buffalo Sabres may look different the next time you see them zipping around the ice at First Niagara Center.
That’s because five players took the pledge to go Bald for Bucks and help raise awareness and financial assistance for cancer patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Mike Weber, Mark Pysyk, Alexander Sulzer, Brayden McNabb, and Cody Hodgson all lost their locks at the rink in front of Bald for Bucks Founder Tony George, and a slew of supporters. Winging It! Buffalo Style‘s Lauren Hall met up with Weber and Hodsgon, who pledged to personally match every donation the Sabres received, after the big shave.
